Why I Chose to Do Makeup Lessons
In 2016, I stepped into the world of female impersonation, a journey that became one of the most fulfilling chapters of my life. My passion for pageantry flourished as I poured my heart into the art of transformation—captivating audiences with performances and embracing the creativity that comes with crafting a look. But beyond the glitz and glamour, I discovered something even more meaningful: the value of community.
Being in community with others is such a beautiful part of life. Through these moments, I got to meet amazing individuals, hear their stories, and understand their perspectives. It reminded me that while we may come from different backgrounds, we are often more similar than we realize.
Fast forward to 2021, when I began creating beauty content online. I started sharing tutorials, product reviews, and tips. To my surprise, followers began reaching out, asking for lessons. It felt like a full-circle moment—what I had started as an informal effort backstage was now growing into something bigger. So, I leaned in, offering makeup lessons to help others feel confident and express themselves.
The heart of my brand, Forever Bella, is rooted in this idea of community. I believe makeup is more than just brushes and palettes; it’s a tool that brings people together. Through makeup lessons—whether one-on-one or in group settings—I aim to build a community where beauty is the common goal and where we celebrate each other's unique journeys.
