Introduction

My name is Solomon, and the story of how I discovered my passion for makeup is deeply personal. Freshman year of high school was the hardest year of my life. I was in the band, and the bullying I faced was relentless—encouraged, sadly, by my band director. One particular incident left me traumatized: three senior boys threatened to jump me, and when I sought refuge, my band director humiliated me in front of everyone. That experience broke me.

In my darkest moment, I considered taking my own life, but I found a spark of hope in cheerleading. Joining the cheer team was a turning point for me. It’s where I discovered makeup. Using my allowance, I’d secretly buy makeup, wear it at school, and remove it before going home. Those moments of self-expression gave me unexplainable confidence.

I eventually went to college, earning degrees in Public Relations and Business Analysis. My journey led me to female impersonation and documenting my transformation on social media. Over time, I began offering free makeup lessons to new queens, family members, and followers. This passion for teaching and connecting with others gave birth to Forever Bella, a brand rooted in community and beauty.
